    The helmet shell of the RPHA71 - lots of safety, little weight

    The designers treated the premium sports touring model to a helmet shell made from premium integrated matrix (PIM+) of the second evolution generation (EVO). Behind this long nomenclature is nothing less than a shell structure made of carbon fibers, carbon-aramid fibers, glass fibers, linen fibers and organic nonwovens. Thanks to this shell construction, HJC manages to walk the tightrope to produce a very solid full-face helmet that does not weigh too much. As a touring biker, you know the problem of “neck fatigue”. Neck fatigue that can occur on long rides with a helmet that is too heavy.

    Clear visor with pinlock and sun visor - best visibility

    "Gasoline also costs 3 euros 10, I want to see my bike on the road. I want fun, I want to have fun, I want to have fun!” Ok, this adapted song line is pretty weird. However, you can lean wonderfully into the curve with your machine and the RPHA71 - and with the best visibility you have an eye on the road and oncoming traffic. Because the new full-face helmet comes with HJ-40 anti-fog clear visor and pinlock disc . This should have solved the problem of temperature differences between warm breathing air and cold outside air. The lock visor is now even easier to open and secure thanks to the new push-and-release system. Whether in urban traffic or on a hot ride down the country road, you won't be dazzled even in direct sunlight thanks to the integrated HJ-V12 sun visor. And if a tunnel appears? A quick grip on the full-face helmet and the sun visor folds up into the helmet interior. It is positioned back down just as quickly so that you are not dazzled when exiting the tunnel. A new mechanism in the RPHA71 even allows adjustment in depth to suit the individual morphology of the biker. Tested in the company's own wind tunnel, you can look forward to a low-noise, aerodynamic ride with this sporty full-face helmet.

    The inner workings of the touring helmet

    The inner workings already start on the outside, with the chin and upper head ventilation as well as the ventilation at the back of the head. This creates a pleasant helmet climate in the helmet. The EPS liner, which with different densities guarantees improved impact resistance and maximum protection, is equipped with air channels. Used air is discharged via this, fresh air flows in constantly. The "Perfect Fit" inner lining is attached to the EPS liner and lives up to its name. The antibacterial fabric supports fast moisture transport and quick drying. This freshness effect is very welcome, especially on long tours. 3D contour pads ensure that the full-face helmet fits snugly but does not pinch. The cheek pads are up to 40 mm thick, the head pads up to 15 mm. For better hygiene, the entire inner lining can be removed and washed at 30 °C. Eyeglass wearers will be happy about the cut-outs in the helmet for the eyeglass temples.

    Communication with the RPHA71

    Always well connected, even on tour? This works very well with the new touring helmet from HJC. Because it is prepared for the second generation of the SMART HJC Bluetooth communication system . What does that mean in detail? The SMART HJC 21B module is the standard communication system and offers a 4-way Bluetooth intercom function with a talk time of over 22 hours. The SMART HJC 50B module is based on the Bluetooth 5.0 Low Power System and offers both MESH and 4-way Bluetooth intercom functionality. Product features such as audio multitasking, advanced noise cancellation and sound adjustment are on board. The 2nd generation SMART HJC systems are all equipped with HD speakers to enrich mid to high frequencies.
