Safety and aerodynamics - the SHOEI NXR2

The SHOEI designers rely on a helmet shell made of AIM for the new NXR 2. This is a shell made up of several layers (Organic Fiber and Multifiber), which can thereby shine with an optimal shock absorption and rigidity. At this point we like to talk about the helmet design. Long gone are the early days when the legendary SR-1 as an actual "half-shell" protected the biker during racing. The SHOEI NXR 2 looks just great when viewed from the side. You can literally sense the airflow over the helmet and spoiler to help with aerodynamics. The lower spoiler edge is extended to the visor on the side, then stepped down again to the back of the head, which accommodates the dynamic effect of the motorcycle helmet. It's also very nice how the designers have managed to integrate the 6 air inlets on the chin and forehead and 4 outlets on the back of the head and neck into the design language of the SHOEI NXR2.

Ventilation and comfort of the SHOEI NXR2

As I said, the SHOEI NXR2 can not only be seen with its total of 10 vents, it also provides good helmet climate and clear visibility. While the 4 inlets on the forehead and chin support the supply of fresh air and keep the visor clear, the 4 outlets at the back of the head and 2 in the neck area discharge stale air - which prevents fatigue. Thus, the SHOEI NXR2 is also a clear candidate for the sporty touring biker. The biker also feels comfortable thanks to the sophisticated interior design. First of all, there is the multi-part styrofoam core system, which contributes to protection optimization with its different degrees of damping. The removable and washable inner lining, consisting of 3D-molded center, ear pads and cheek pads (including E. Q. R. S. = Emergency Quick Release System) helps to ensure a comfortable wearing experience. Other comfort features like the Breath Guard (breath deflector) and Chin Curtain (chin curtain) reduce air turbulence and decimate noise levels.
