The new 50R offers a premium audio experience with SOUND BY Harman Kardon. The speakers and microphone were developed in collaboration with audio experts at Harman Kardon to guarantee first-class sound for one of the most popular Senas. The new microphone with a state-of-the-art sensor ensures optimal performance for voice transmission while driving and the new speakers guarantee significantly improved sound quality.
MESH REDEFINED:
The Mesh Intercom ™ developed by Sena offers a new level of robust, reliable intercom connections and a self-optimized, flexible routing of intercom messages thanks to significant technical improvements to the original Sena Mesh Intercom ™ algorithm. The individual mesh units actively exchange information at an astonishing speed and, thanks to the ingenious system of input prompts and responses, guarantee that 80% more data is transferred between the mesh units. In addition, the mesh devices determine the optimal transmission path for an efficient conversation between drivers in real time.

ONE DEVICE - THREE INTERCOM MODES:
The 50R can use three different communication modes for communication: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom ™, Group Mesh Intercom ™ and Bluetooth Intercom.
With Group Mesh, a single, private group with up to 24 participants over a range of up to 8 km (min. 6 drivers at intervals of 1.6 km) can be created! The users must be invited into the group mesh, so that additional control and privacy is allowed.
Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) offers the industry's first Mesh Intercom ™ multi-channel system, with which you can switch between nine different channels in order to communicate with different groups with an unlimited number of users within a range of up to 8 km (min. 6 drivers at intervals of 1.6 km) to entertain!
The classic Bluetooth mode is still an option to connect to other Sena Bluetooth users.
Whatever the group constellation, the flexibility of the 50R can cover all driving scenarios.
VOICE COMMANDS FOR BETTER CONTROL:
Take control of the 50R without lifting a finger. You can control the 50R hands-free using voice commands, such as: B. Open an Open Mesh session or answer a call. Just say an order and the 50R will act for you. The 50R responds to eight different languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian.
The best thing among voice commands, however, is the new direct hands-free access to Google or Siri via your smartphone! "Hey Siri, please give directions to the next hotel!" "Hey Google, what's the weather like today?" No buttons, no more preliminary commands. The 50R connects to everything the Google Assistant and Apple's Siri have to offer while you're on the go!
