hygroskopisch. Das bedeutet, sie <strong>nimmt Wasser auf<\/strong>. Dem kannst Du nicht entgegenwirken, es passiert zwangsl\u00e4ufig. Je \u00e4lter die Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit, desto mehr Fl\u00fcssigkeit aus der Luft nimmt sie auf. Dadurch <strong>sinkt die Temperaturstabilit\u00e4t<\/strong> und die Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit beginnt fr\u00fcher zu \u201ekochen\u201c. Bei Hitze bilden sich dann <strong>Dampfblasen<\/strong>, die im Gegensatz zur Fl\u00fcssigkeit <strong>leicht komprimierbar<\/strong> sind. Bedeutet: Der <strong>Druck<\/strong>, den Du durch Bet\u00e4tigung des Bremshebels aus\u00fcbst, <strong>wird nicht mehr optimal an die Bremskolben weitergegeben<\/strong>. Im Worst-Case-Szenario kannst Du den Bremshebel voll durchziehen, ohne Bremswirkung.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"C4\">Woran erkenne ich, dass die Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit ihren Zweck nicht mehr erf\u00fcllt?<\/h2>\n<p>Lass es erst gar nicht dazu kommen, dass die Bremswirkung nachl\u00e4sst. Schau Dir die <strong>F\u00e4rbung der Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit<\/strong> im Fl\u00fcssigkeitsbeh\u00e4lter an. Frische Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit ist in der Regel hellgelb. Einzelne Hersteller f\u00e4rben sie auch hellblau oder hellrot ein. Ungeachtet dessen ist <strong>alte Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit grau bis schwarz<\/strong>. Ist dies der Fall, dann besser Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit vorab wechseln. Im Besonderen dann, falls eine Urlaubsfahrt mit vielen Pass-, Berg- und Talfahrten ansteht.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"C5\">Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit \u2013 was bedeutet die DOT-Klassifizierung?<\/h2>\n<p>Die <strong>DOT-Klassifizierung<\/strong> (DOT = Department of Transportation, US-Verkehrsministerium) bezieht sich auf den <strong>Siedepunkt von Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeiten<\/strong>. Bei Zweir\u00e4dern reichen die DOT-Klassen von 3 bis 5. Wobei DOT 3 einen Siedepunkt von 205 \u00b0C, DOT 4 von 230 \u00b0C sowie DOT 5 einen Siedepunkt von bis zu 260 \u00b0C aufweist. Ansonsten kommt sp\u00e4testens jetzt Dein Kumpel ins Spiel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong> Dein Spezl bet\u00e4tigt oben den Bremshebel zwei bis dreimal UND h\u00e4lt ihn im Anschluss gedr\u00fcckt. Probleme bereiten. Verf\u00fcgt Dein Motorrad hingegen \u00fcber ein ABS, ist Vorsicht geboten. <strong>Motorr\u00e4der mit ABS<\/strong> haben in der Regel zwei Bremskreise: Den Steuerkreis, der von der Bremspumpe angesteuert wird und den Regelkreis, der \u00fcber einen Druckmodulator den Bremskolben bet\u00e4tigt. Auch k\u00f6nnen die Bremsen wie zum Beispiel bei BMW oder Motto Guzzi vorne und hinten miteinander gekoppelt sein (Stichwort: Integralbremse bzw. Verbundbremse). Auch hier gilt: Du setzt den Pumpvorgang so lange fort, bis nur noch <strong>klare, blasenfreie Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit<\/strong> nachflie\u00dft. W\u00e4hrend des letzten Pumpsto\u00dfes mit der Vakuumpumpe schlie\u00dft Du die Entl\u00fcftungsschraube, damit sich auch wirklich nur Fl\u00fcssigkeit im System befindet.<\/p>\n<h3><u>Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit wechseln \u2013 die Entl\u00fcftungsventile<\/u><\/h3>\n<p>Die <strong>Entl\u00fcftungsventile<\/strong> in den Bremss\u00e4tteln unterscheiden sich von Hersteller zu Hersteller.
