SCORPION EXO-R1 AIR - a helmet shell makes history

New visor system ELLIP-TEC® in the EXO-R1 AIR
Not only the helmet shell, but also the visor had to prove itself in the wind tunnel. Especially in order to limit aerodynamic noise to a minimum at very high speeds. The visor system has highly efficient springs that press the visor firmly against the seal. In addition to the low background noise, it is the absolute tightness that is convincing. If the visor is dirty or damaged, the tool-free change takes less than 10 seconds. With Pinlock MAXVISION and the permanent air corridor it creates, fogging of the visor is effectively prevented. The inner workings of the SCORPION EXO-R1 AIR
For the designers at SCORPION, it is not enough that the full-face helmet “sits”, it has to fit perfectly. For this reason, the AIRFIT CONCEPT was integrated. These are inflatable pads inside the helmet. A small pump enables the biker to individually adapt the full-face helmet to his morphology. This not only makes the driver feel safer, it also serves to reduce noise. The chin guard also contributes to this. The special thing about the ventilation system: With newly arranged, adjustable vents at the front and rear, the air resistance can be reduced and the air circulation optimized.
KWIKWICK3® is the name of the new 3D contoured inner lining that was designed for the SCORPION EXO-R1 AIR. The hypoallergenic, removable and washable inner lining feels very soft and comfortable on the skin. This is also important, because the biker is carefully wrapped in the inner lining up to the neck area. However, in the event of a fall, the full-face helmet can easily be removed using the emergency release system. After all, it is the chinstrap with double-D titanium ring that secures the SCORPION EXO-R1 AIR.
